Margaret will be signing copies of “A Rebellious Oak” on Saturday May 26^th at Holt Bookshop, 10, Appleyard, Holt 11.00a.m. – 1.00p.m. and on Saturday June 2^nd at Barnwell Books, Market Place, Aylsham 10.00 a.m. – 1.00p.m.

A new book will be published on June 25^th “ When Grandma was Little” by Anne Basketts.  This book is beautifully illustrated by the author and is designed to be read with children.  Looking at how life was when Grandma was little and comparing it with life today.  The schoolroom and Laundry Day are just two of the situations illustrated and described in rhyme.

A launch is being organised keep any eye open for the date and venue.

 Launch of A Rebellious Oak went very well. We sold a good number of books (for a small publisher and first novel) Author Margaret Callow, worked very hard signing copies of her book, she will be suffering from writers cramp this morning. I have had three emails from people saying the are going to post reviews on Amazon. Photos to be posted soon.

Thank you to all the purchasers and volunteers some of whom had travelled long distances to be there.

We are releasing the title of our new book which will be available early next year.

A REBELLIOUS OAK is a wonderful story about a real event that took place in Norwich, known as Kett’s rebellion.

Margaret Callow, the author has woven together fact and fiction and the result is a terrific read.

Running Hare and Margaret Callow were kindly invited by Robert Kett school Wymondham to the annual laying of floral tributes at the memorial plaque to Robert Kett on the anniversary of his execution.
